Featured Cores

SedDB is generating comprehensive datasheets for important cores ('Featured Cores') that have had a major impact on the research community because of their sedimentological record and the range of proxies measured on them. The downloadable datasheets integrate all published data and any other data for a given core that are included in the SedDB data collection into a single data table. Data from diifferent sources are integrated by sample or depth interval, documented with ages, lithology, data source and analytical method, and grouped by sample type (e.g. bulk sediment, microfossil, grain size fraction, etc.).
